We’re proud to officially welcome Mountain Pine alumnus Josh Walpole Jr. to our staff as Head Boys Basketball Coach, ALE Director, and Assistant Baseball Coach!

Coach Walpole has been making a difference in our athletic programs, having volunteered as an Assistant Coach for the MPHS Baseball team for the past three years. Now, he’s stepping into multiple leadership roles and continuing his dedication to Mountain Pine students, both on and off the field.

He brings a strong academic and athletic background:

Associate’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences – Western Texas College

Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management – Champion Christian College

Currently pursuing his Master’s in Teaching – Southern Arkansas University

Played 3 years of collegiate baseball at Western Texas College Baseball

Played 3 years of collegiate basketball at Champion Tigers basketball

Coach Walpole is a hard-working, team-oriented, and driven educator and coach. He’s committed to student growth, character development, and community impact, and we are excited to have him officially back as a leader in our Red Devil Family.
