Mountain Pine School District is beyond excited to welcome Lyndsey Powell back to where it all began! She is joining us as our new Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) Teacher!
Lyndsey brings two years of teaching experience from Anchorage, Alaska. While she loved her time in the Last Frontier, she is thrilled to return home to the community that helped shape who she is today.
Having attended elementary school right here at Mountain Pine, returning as an educator is a deeply meaningful full-circle moment for her. Walking these halls again—surrounded by the pine-covered hills, memories of her school days, and working alongside former teachers and administrators who inspired her—makes being back feel like much more than just a job: it truly feels like coming home.
