Mountain Pine School District is excited to announce that Kelly McCarthy is joining our team as our new ELA Teacher!
Ms. McCarthy brings an impressive and diverse educational background to Mountain Pine, along with specialized expertise in literacy instruction. She holds a B.A. in Japanese Language & Literature from the University of Massachusetts, an M.A. in Secondary English from Oklahoma State University, an M.A. in Counselor Education from UA Little Rock, and an M.S. in Education Theory and Practice from Arkansas State University!
In addition to her degrees, Ms. McCarthy is trained in Wilson Language Training and holds certified Science of Reading R.I.S.E. credentials. Her deep knowledge and dedication to reading instruction will be a fantastic asset to our students.
