The mission of the Mountain Pine School District Library Media Centers is to ensure that students and staff are effective & ethical users of ideas and information and to empower students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, and skillful researchers.  

The school library media specialist empowers students as they develop the necessary skills to use information, ideas, and technology ethically, creatively, and critically to make intelligent judgments throughout their daily lives. The program is designed to support and enhance the Mountain Pine School District curriculum and its goals.
