High School Science Teacher
This is my first year of teaching secondary school, but I have taught college courses in the past.
I am currently teaching 7th grade science, biology, honors biology, chemistry, and environmental science.
I have been in informal education since 2012. I worked for many animal ambassador programs including Raptor Rehab of Central Arkansas, American Eagle Foundation, Little Rock Zoo, John Ball Zoo, and the World Bird Sanctuary. I have also been a park interpreter for Hot Springs National Park and a visitor center representative for Petit Jean State Park. I recently spent 2 years referbishing the planitaruim at Mid America Science Museum and coordinating their Girls in STEAM program, summer camps and volunteers.
I have a LOT of pets. I rescue parrots and currently have three. I also have three dogs named Rhett (white german shepherd), Loki (black and tan german shepherd) and Scarlett (red teacup poodle). I also have a 20 year old, seven legged taurantula named Cassidy and a 12 year old milk snake named Noodle that are both classroom pets.
