The National Weather Service in Little Rock has expanded the * Flash Flood Watch to include portions of CENTRAL ARKANSAS, SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS, and WESTERN ARKANSAS, including the following areas, in CENTRAL ARKANSAS, Faulkner, Garland, Grant, Perry, Pulaski, and Saline. In SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS, Clark, Dallas, Hot Spring, Ouachita, and Pike. In WESTERN ARKANSAS, Montgomery and Polk. * From 6 PM CDT this evening through Tuesday afternoon * Periods of rain, associated with Barry, will continue across the region through Tuesday evening. The rain will be heavy at times, with additional amounts of two to five inches expected, with some higher totals possible across southwest Arkansas. These amounts may lead to flash flooding. * While flash flooding will be a primary concern into Tuesday, rivers over these areas will need to be monitored for additional flood potential later in the week.
