I am currently in my second year with the Mountain Pine School District. I am a 2015 Graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where I received a Degree in Music Education on the Saxophone. I taught last fall in the Farmington School District just outside of Fayetteville. I currently teach music to all of our students K-12 including General Music, Introduction to Instrumental Music, Junior High Instrumental Music, Junior High Vocal Music, Senior High Vocal Music, and Senior High Instrumental Music which includes Marching Band, Pep Band, Jazz Band, and Wind Ensemble.
I previously served as a Intern in the Farmington School District under Mr. Jim Spillars in Farmington, Arkansas just outside of Fayetteville.
I currently live in Hot Springs, Arkansas after moving from Springdale, Arkansas with my Wife Brittany. We have one daughter, Caydence Janice Johns who was born October 6, 2016. I have been a memberr of the Red Devil Nation since 2016.
I am all about music, from performing live around the state and region, to my love of educating young musicians I could not imagine doing anything else with my life. As an alumni of the University of Arkansas and a former member of the Razorback Marching Band, I am a huge Razorback fan. From Football to Baseball, fall to summer I am all about the HOGS! Woo Pig!
