Graduated from Dardanelle High School, here in Arkansas, in 1990. Finished with Bachelors Degree in 1997 from Arkansas Tech University. Completed first Masters Degree from Harding University in 2005 and the second Masters Degree from Arkansas State University in 2014. Completed required graduate hours from Texas A@M-Texarkana for Superintendent Certification in 2015.

I started teaching at Mountain Pine in the 2015/2016 school year. I have been with the school district for two years. I am currently K-12 Athletic Director, Dean of Students, and Public Relations Coordinator
I began teaching in 1997 at a private school in West Central Arkansas. From there I moved to NW Arkansas and taught at Elkins, South Central Arkansas at Camden Fairview, Lafayette County, Prescott, and then to Mountain Pine. I have taught history, special education, geography, and study skills. I have coached football, baseball, basketball, cross country and track. I have a few awards from coaching, such as Conference Coach of the Year and a Championship ring.
Married to the former Hope Bennett in 1995. She works at Conway Regional Hospital. We have two daughters, Karlie and Grace. Karlie is currently attending UCA and Grace is currently a junior attending the Magnet Cove School District, where we live.
I love sports, reading, hunting and fishing, spending time with my family, and enjoying anything outdoors.
