Jerlyn Hoffpauir
I graduated from West Orange-Stark High School in 1986. I attended Lamar University- Orange in 1988. Trasferred to Lamar University in Beaumont Texas to complete my Bachelors Degree. I graduated in May of 1991. I have 8 Graduate credits through Adams State College.

I started teaching at mountain Pine School District in August of 2015. I was hired as a Reading Interventionist. I was hired in May of 2016 to teach 3rd grade literacy and social studies for the 2016-2017 school year.
I started my teaching career at Silsbee Independent School District in 1992. Silsbee is a town about 30 miles north of Beaumont Texas. I taught 5th and 6th grade title 1 math for two years. I transferred to Kindergarten in May of 1994. I taught Title 1 (intervention) from 1994-1998. I moved to Pre-Kindergarten and taught from 1998 to June of 2002. In the summer or 2002, My husband transferred to Colorado Springs, CO. I taught in various positions until October of 2007. I was hired as a reading interventionist for Stratmoor Hills Elementary. I was asked to teach Kindergarten the following year and stayed until 2013. We moved to Arkansas in June of 2014. I taught at St. Luke’s Day School for half a year before accepting the job as Reading Interventionist at Mountain Pine Elementary.
I have been married for 31 years to James Hoffpauir. We have three children ages 30, 29, and 26. Britney is married and lives in Silsbee, TX. Kristan is married and currently living in Hinsdale, MS, and Caleb is still living here in Hor springs, AR We have five dogs, Princess, Peyton, Oscar, Cupid, and Jasper. A cat named Luna. We also have two chickens Fred and Ethel.
